provigil modafinil buy online uk Below are the four letters that Gray Barker enclosed in his letter to John (see the last post). He wrote the coroner of Dade County, Florida, to find out why no autopsy was performed on the ufologist Morris K. Jessup. The coroner, Dr. Joseph H. Davis, wrote back with the explanation (Jessup had donated his body to medical research), and asked for more information about Jessup and the possible reasons for his suicide. He also asked about the use of drugs in UFO circles. As Barker said in his letter, his own replies had been lost.

  1. Well this is interesting! Thanks for sharing. I was expecting Gray to get some kind of generic cover letter from the ME’s office but Dr Davis appears quite astute in his quest for information. A quick internet inquiry reveals that Dr Davis was a highly respected ME. Here is his obituary:

  3. Did the coroner suspect hallucinogens?
If so, did Jessup dose himself or was it put on the steering wheel of his car by a Mirage Man?

  4. It seems to me that he was asking about drug use in the UFO subculture, not just about Jessup, especially since that last letter was a year later. It may have been relevant to another case, or to his continuing research on suicide. An intriguing question, at any rate!
