John’s birthday today, 25 March, at least here in Australia. A very happy birthday John and thanks so much for your writing. I was flipping through some pages of the Mothman Prophecies last night and it’s still a very good read.

Something about this speech reminds me of the Lotus Sutra. In the Lotus Sutra the Buddha explains that he is older than the hills. ( I paraphrase). He has been teaching, planting the seed of enlightenment, for that amount of time. In the age of Mappo (time of confusion) the Bodhisattvas, equal in number to the sands of the Ganges, will appear to cause world peace. I can’t wait. Those Bodhisattvas must be around here somewhere. This was a cool speech.
