  1. Physical symptoms john describes are symptoms of diabetes. Odd too that fake john says theres a needle in my arm. If it was a voice that sounded just like him, maybe it WAS him. Blood sugar fluctuations can cause irrational behavior, (but that doesn’t explain the Sandersons. And I’m not making assumptions minimizing the Trickster.) Could John have been trying to establish a Jaye Paro type of ufo drama with Lynn Catoe? If you tell someone that seemingly everyday things are actually part of a chain of paranormal events…a big conspiracy…it might be unsettling for most, and convince some to put more meaning into things that are actually mundane.

  2. John did have diabetes, although I think he hadn’t been diagnosed yet. The incident with the man in the truck, who put putty on the bottom of Lynn Catoe’s car, had already spooked her, as well as John and the Sandersons. And no doubt he was reading meanings into things, since he was interviewing contactees and looking for patterns.
