I’ve been following along with the Apol and Jaye Paro entries, but this seems like there was much more than goofy Jaye and Princess Owl Moon…what did I miss that convinced John this was a legit and pervasiive conspiracy. What “underground” resistance is he referring to? who else is aware of the ufo alien infiltration? or did it all just get to him?
John seems to have believed many of Paro’s stories at the time, although he rejected the Princess as a fake. He seems to have been swayed by the sheer volume and strangeness of her stories, and by their correlation with other UFO witnesses’ accounts. I think he also had a bit of confirmation bias: if it was true, it was a sensational story. But looking back, it’s hard to tell.
