JOHN KEEL NOT AN AUTHORITY ON ANYTHING

Special Cases – The Long Island File (15): Colonel Dalton

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 4:05 pm

We pick up the thread in John’s ongoing investigation of Jaye Paro. This time, she claims to have been visited by a certain Colonel John Lewis Dalton, who questioned her about UFOs and asked her to fill out a long questionnaire. Meanwhile, Princess Moon Owl is calling up contactees. As usual, John takes notes on it all, with increasing exasperation, adding, “So things are getting more and more involved.”

  1. Every time I read John’s note from this era I wind up with more questions than answers: no surprise, it looks like John did to. One is: would the USAF send a full bird colonel to go speak with Jay P about this kind of nonsense? Oh well…..

  2. This part of the whole enigma with so-called MIB (and WIB) is confounding as hell. Although it’s great to be able to read John Keel’s “take” on things in a much more nuanced manner. Jay Paro begins to sound, at least in my opinion, less and less credible. In MOTHMAN PROPHECIES she’s painted as more reliable than she seems actually to have been. Too bad cell phones didn’t yet exist at that time, or we might have gotten some interesting images. Happy Thanksgiving, Doug!

  3. Thanks again, Doug. This story just get weirder and weirder. Although I’m inclined to believe Jay P is a nut case, it sure is an elaborate chain of events. Looking forward to the next installment. And Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

  4. If the USAF did start “bothering” Jaye Paro she likely caused them some confusion with “Miss Dunn”. Reminds me of a Seinfeld episode.

  5. Anyone doubting if the Air Force would indulge in hoaxing, clowning and general fakery to confuse and even hurt UFO witnesses – go no further than “Mirage Men” or the Bennewitz Affair. To this day, and after the Valdez family lawmen fave comprehensively debunked any alien involvement in “Dulce Base” lunacy, and have established the specific secret programs being used; and even established multiple agencies piggybacked on one hoax operation (as in the Bennewitz Affair) – even now many many cultists point blank refuse to accept the documented truth that AFOSI, NSA, DISC and others run complicated hoaxes including very bizarre elements.
