I don’t know, that omniscient, slightly smarmy voice sounds an awful lot like Sanderson to my ear (or reads an awful lot like Sanderson to my eye).

On second thought, I think you’re right. The tone seemed to me to have more of the earnestness of some of John’s private UFO papers, and none of Sanderson’s usual breeziness. But those corrections look like Sanderson’s handwriting.
