A Letter from Mary Hyre, May 2, 1967

buy Lyrica I’ll continue with Mary Hyre’s letters.  In this one, from May 2, 1967, she confesses that she’s still afraid of the strange man with thick glasses who came to her office, and encloses a column she wrote about a local legend.  (I posted this a while ago, but here it is in its proper sequence, in a more legible scan.  There’s more to come…)

  3. Fascinating Doug. Her encounter has gone down in MIB history, so it’s fascinating to read her own feelings about it. Also, the headache – Bender also suffered from them after the MIB visited him. I am sure this detail would not have gone unnoticed to Keel:)

Looking forward to reading more by Mary Hyre. After all, she is the only other, often neglected author of the Mothman tale apart from Keel and Barker, and she actually was there when it happened. For that alone what she had to say deserves attention:)

    Best regards,

    Theo
