do you need a prescription to buy disulfiram We’re still in July 1967; John notes more strange phone calls, both to Jaye Paro and himself. He also makes another attempt to contact Paro’s aliens, or at least to find out if they exist, with a bold plan for a public UFO display.

  6. How amazing that John was actually talking this walk? Absolutely fabulous! I want to tell you about my experience at Mt. Misery; Sweet Hollow Rd. The area is about 35 minutes from my home in Selden. I think it could be about a thousand acres more or less, in the middle of suburbia even in 1967. The people that like to ride horses use this area to ride their horses, but this is not a wilderness in the middle of no where. This area is very close to Walt Whitman’s home. I decided to check this area out. It was a cloudy December day. I parked by Sweet Hollow Road and followed paths to the North West. I came to a clearing that was an opened field. I saw a building where you could hang out and get out of the rain, and go to the bathroom. I checked everything. There seemed to be many campsites around the area, and I might have read some sign that said this place was a old race track. Now I was an experienced hiker, and I knew that the Long Island Sound was 7-8 miles away, and the Great South Bay was 7-8 miles away, but I was disoriented. After 50 years, I was 50 at the time, and hiked almost everywhere, how could I be disoriented in this Central Park like place? With my tail between my legs, I actually needed to ask some very friendly maintenance guys like where am I?, which way back to Sweet Hollow Rd? Weird Magnetism over there?

  7. There’s something weird about the place. Why do you think they named it Mt. Misery?

  8. The more I read this stuff, the more it sounds like weird military/Intel psychological warfare type stuff.
