I was reading through some pdfs of old issues of Saucer Scoop and found this curious item where Keel claims he has attorneys working on an individual identified as starting a rumor that an android double had replaced him. I don’t see this listed in the bibliography and searching the site for the word android didn’t say anything about this specific incident. The article is “Will the Real John Keel Please Stand Up?” Saucer Scoop, volume 3, # 8 (November 1968), p.19 of the pdf. I confess I am curious to know the fallout from this incident, if the person was publicly identified, what the person’s subsequent actions were, what Keel said of it in later years if at all. In any event, I felt you’d like this for your archive. All the best.

No, I didn’t know about that. I’ll see if I can find anything. And thanks for the link; there are two Keel articles in that issue. I’ve added them to the bibliography.
