(This is known as the “Lead Mask Case,” and there’s a lot about it online, if you’re curious.) John marked a paragraph about a note found with them, directing them to take unspecified “capsules.” One of the theories about the men is that they took psychedelics to contact spirits; John was probably interested because pills are reported by a number of contactees, including Jaye Paro.
He then goes on with his daily reports: Paro claims another meeting with Apol and Agar, and an unpleasant interaction with two men in gray. (John apparently forgot to finish the sentence at the end of the page; there’s no page missing.) He also notes a rash of odd phone calls, some of which he suspects might be due to Gray Barker. And Princess Moon Owl calls to announce her departure. Two busy days for a hard-working reporter…
