She sent John some clippings (which he must have filed somewhere else, but which apparently contained new Mothman sightings), spotted a UFO over her house, and sent a report of a local contactee, who apparently wasn’t Woodrow Derenberger.
Interesting! Is there anything more on this unknown contactee in any further letters by Mary Hyre?

I don’t remember; I guess we’ll find out as I keep posting the letters. It’s possible, too, that the man actually was Derenberger, and that her source was mistaken.
